Lance Iverson
Local Artist
Lance Iverson, is also
a very interesting artist, he specializes in Photography and photo
montages. He has been doing custom work of his own for over 20
years. His most interesting photo-montage collection, is called
'Altered Views', which were inspired by his fascination for close
up photography. Commonplace images are transformed to challenge
the perception of the viewer.
"By turning things upside down and superimposing
images, I introduce confusion while at the same time maintaining
the overall effect of a coherent whole. I think of art as making
something familiar look like something else. I have always been
intrigued by colors, patterns, and forms of small things
enlarged."
